Bands Needed for July 14th Show in Salt Lake City, Ut

Circles We Draw is welcoming Salt Lake City acts that match well with our Retro Vague sound. The “In The Sun Tour” stops at Quarter's Arcade Bar on July 14th We are interested in bands representing garage rock, indie rock, alternative, funk, and soft rock genres. We prefer bands with music on Spotify. Kinda Vague Records will add our supporting acts to our Spotify Playlist and showcase their music on our social media channels and website. We have a strong preference for female-led acts and rock acts that feature brass instruments.

Circles We Draw Adds Keyboardist Erik Silk To Band Roster

Circles We Draw expands its live performance sound with the addition of Erik Silk on keys.

Erik has been proudly whacking on keyboards since his first piano lesson at age 9. Originally from the East Coast, he came to Denver in 2020. Erik has played bars, clubs, cruise ships, weddings, street corners and high school cafeterias, to name a few. Check out his solo performances on YouTube. Erik joined Circles We Draw following a chance encounter with Andrew Tallent at The Tavern on 26th's open mic night.

We are looking forward to having him take care of piano…synth…organ…clavinet…didgeridoo…

Erik will make his first appearance on the KVR roster at Your Mom's House on Thursday, March 28th.

Click the venue links for tickets. 21+ Shows.

Special thanks to Boogie Groove Entertainment for bringing us to your mom's house :)

New EP "In The Sun" is available for presave on Spotify.

Jon the Jake stopped on proto-earth for a toke In The Sun, stubbed out his joint in a mud puddle, and life came worshipping after. Circles We Draw’s first EP is an exhibition of songwriting that fabricates meanings into the gaps of Andrew Tallent’s fractured reality. In The Sun is a five-track journey into a retro-vague escapism from which you won’t want to return. What does Circles We Draw sound like? Like Jon the Jakes's “special” blend of Emo, Indie, and Psychedelic Rock.

P.S. The origin story of Jon the Jake follows in Circle We Draw’s upcoming LP.

This album will be released on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. You can pre-save it on Spotify now
